Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts head to Tennessee to take on the Titans in a game that pales in comparison to the match up it used to be.
Remember the days of Peyton Manning and Steve McNair—the epic battles, the high-powered offenses, the near-constant jockeying for a spot on the All Pro team or for MVP votes. These two teams are hoping Luck and Jake Locker eventually step into those shoes, but this game just doesn't have the luster it used to.
The Colts (3-3) are outperforming many expectations for their season and much of that has to do with the play of their rookie passer. It certainly couldn't be many of the players around him on offense who (save Reggie Wayne) have disappointed in support of Luck.
The Colts defense, however, has improved under the watchful gaze of Chuck Pagano and Greg Manusky. The Colts have gotten after the passer in their new 3-4 front and will certainly try to harass whoever is under center for the Titans.
Tennessee (3-4) is going to re-evaluate Locker this week who has been sitting with injury. Even if Locker is healthy, however, Hasselbeck may be the better option for the Titans in 2012. The savvy veteran has the team on a two-game winning streak and Chris Johnson has had a resurgence now that teams can't shut down the passing game so easily.
The Titans' best asset is their underrated twin tackles—Michael Roos and David Stewart. How that tandem protects the quarterback (whoever is undercenter) will determine who wins this game.

The Tennessee Titans felt disrespected heading into Cleveland for their Week 1 opener against the Browns, so they did something about it. Mike Vrabel's team thoroughly dismantled the much-hyped Browns and capitalized off of a bevy of miscues and blunders by Cleveland on their way to a 30-point road victory.
The Indianapolis Colts were everybody's favorite to win the AFC South heading into the season, but that expectation has dwindled for many in light of Andrew Luck retiring. The Colts, coming off of an overtime road defeat to the Los Angeles Chargers will look to find that disrespect card and grab a road win this week at Nissan Stadium.
Much like Indianapolis, the Titans will have to establish the line of scrimmage, especially in the absence of left tackle Taylor Lewan who is in the midst of serving a four-game suspension for a violation of the league's policy on the use of performance-enhancing substances. Last week, offensive coordinator Arthur Smith schemed around the deficiencies on the line and used a variety of play-action passes and screen passes to counter Cleveland's pass-rushing duo of Myles Garrett and Olivier Vernon. Garrett still wound up with two sacks (Browns had four total), but Tennessee finished with 339 total yards and no turnovers. This week's focus will be on Colts outside linebacker Justin Houston, who recorded a sack in his first game with his new team last week, and All-Pro linebacker Darius Leonard. Indianapolis was able to sack Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers four times and was credited with nine total hits on him in Week 1.
